Installing the Plugin

You can easily install the ‘Food Delivery’ plugin by following any of the two ways: Manual and Automatic.

Backend Food Delivery Management

Managing All Food Deliveries

The ‘All Food Deliveries’ option displays a list of all the placed orders, order status, and their delivery status. From here, you can edit the delivery status or delete orders.

How to Edit Delivery Status from ‘All Food Deliveries’?

Take the steps discussed below to edit the delivery status of a placed order.

• Go to ‘All Food Deliveries’.
• Click on the ‘Pencil’ icon of that order to edit it.
• Select the delivery status.
• Click on ‘Update Status’.

How to Delete a food delivery from ‘All Food Deliveries’?

Follow the steps mentioned below to delete a food delivery from ‘All Food Deliveries’.

• Go to ‘All Food Deliveries’. 
• Go to the food delivery you want to delete. 
• Click on the ‘Bin’ icon of that food delivery to delete it.

However, you can also delete multiple food deliveries at a time from here.

Managing Delivery Status

The ‘Delivery Status’ option allows you to add and edit a delivery status.

How to Add a New Delivery Status?

Take the below-mentioned steps to add a new delivery status.

• Go to the ‘Delivery Status’ section. 
• Fill in the required details.
• Hit the ‘Add New Delivery Status’ button.

How to Quickly Edit a Delivery Status?

• Go to the delivery status list beside the ‘Add New Delivery Status’ section. 
• A ‘Quick Edit’ option is there below each delivery status.
• Click on ‘Quick Edit’ of the delivery status you want to edit.

The ‘Delivery Services’ option helps you add and edit a delivery service.

How to Add a New Delivery Service?

Take the below-mentioned steps to add a new delivery service.

• Go to the ‘Delivery Services’ section. 
• Give the required details.
• Click on the ‘Add New Delivery Services’ button.

How to Quickly Edit a Delivery Service?

• Go to the delivery service list beside the ‘Add New Delivery Services’ section. 
• A ‘Quick Edit’ option is there below each delivery service.

Settings

The ‘Settings’ option helps you manage plugin’s data, activate delivery location, and display notice time text.

General

• Delete Data on Uninstall: Tick the box if you want to delete the plugin’s data of food delivery after uninstalling it.
• Delivery Location Active: Tick the box if you want to activate the location checker option on the Checkout page.
• Availability Checker Popup: Select the box if you want to display the location checker popup on the ‘Foods’ page.
• Notice Time Text: Write the notice time text to display it on the popup.
• Listings Per Page: Increase or decrease the number of listings you want to show per page.
• Order Deliver Timing: Increase or decrease the number you want to post in the delivery post column.

Shortcodes

The ‘Shortcodes’ option allows you to display all the food delivery listings on the frontend of your website. 

You have to create a new page to add a shortcode. 

Follow this path to create a page. WP-admin>>Pages>>Add New Page

Set Up

• Paste the shortcode [wpfm_order_dashboard] on the new page.
• Publish.

Frontend Food Delivery Management

Food Delivery

The ‘Food Delivery’ list displays the online orders and the delivery status of each order. From here, the restaurant owners can edit delivery status and delete food deliveries.
